Before you can play your music on the jukebox, you'll have to select and check-in to the Place you're at!

When you open the TouchTunes app, you'll see the Places tab on the bottom navigation bar. Tapping the Places tab will display a map of nearby Places, along with a list of those venues ordered by proximity to your current GPS location. The Places list will also display the most popular music genres at a venue, as well as the current status of the jukebox at the venue (including the song that's currently playing!)

Just tap the pin on the map, or tap the name of the venue in the list below to check-in at that Place! You'll know your check-in was successful if you see a screen pop up welcoming you to the venue, and showing the currently playing song.

You may see a larger pin on the map with a number on it, indicating multiple Places in close proximity to each other. You can pinch, drag and zoom in on the map to find your desired Place, even if you aren't nearby! You can also expand the list of Places by quickly tapping the top of the drawer, or by tapping and holding anywhere on the drawer and dragging it to the top!

While you are checked into a venue, its pin will turn gold on the map, and the venue will be marked with a badge on the Places list.

Any Place you've checked into recently will be displayed under your ⏰ Recent tab. Similarly, any Place you've marked as a Favorite will be displayed under your ❤ Favorites tab. To learn how to save a Place as a Favorite, see our FAQ article: "How can I add a Place to my Favorites?"
