In order to ensure TouchTunes users are able to receive purchase receipts and that accounts are made using valid email addresses, the new version of the TouchTunes app will require existing accounts to verify their email address before making a purchase.

When you first sign in to the TouchTunes app, or after logging in to an account with an unconfirmed email, a prompt to validate your email address will appear and an email will automatically be sent to your email address on file. Check your inbox and click the link in that email to complete the validation process!

The link in the email is only valid for 48 hours; if you don't receive it or your link has expired, tap "Request a new one" or "Resend email" on the prompt to send the validation email again. If you still aren't receiving anything, or your email address is incorrect, tap "Change my email" to update it!

Existing accounts created using Facebook© or Apple ID© do not require email validation through TouchTunes, since those services require independent validation.
