In addition to sending a gift via the song queue, you can also gift credits to another user by scanning the recipient’s QR code from their TouchTunes Profile on their personal device.

To retrieve the QR code, just tap the Profile tab on the bottom navigation bar, then tap “Show QR Code.” This will display a unique QR code, which can be saved as an image or shared. From this same screen, the QR code can be scanned by another device in order to send a credit gift.

Once you have your friend’s QR code, you can send them a gift by following these steps:

  1. Ask the recipient to tap the “Gift & Receive Credits” button in their Profile
  2. Select “Scan to gift”
  3. Using your device’s camera, scan the QR code from your gift recipient’s Profile
  4. Enter the desired number of credits
  5. Tap and hold the button to send your gift using your credit balance

The recipient profile’s username will be visible when their QR code is scanned, even if they have the “Display username in queue” setting turned OFF – this applies even if they adjust the setting before or after generating/saving their QR code.
